I believe that accessible, affordable, high quality medical care is both a basic human right and essential to the health and economic strength of any community.

Born in the United States, I was raised in Melbourne, Australia but returned to the US to attend college, earning an AB from Duke University and a JD from Harvard Law School.  After practicing corporate and healthcare law in San Francisco, I moved to Santa Fe with my husband Jon, a radiologist, and each of our three sons were born at CHRISTUS St. Vincent Medical Center. In addition to serving on the executive committee of the St. Vincent Hospital Foundation, I am the current board chair of Santa Fe Preparatory School and serve on the Santa Fe Ski Team board.
