WHY I SERVE: JEFFREY LAMIE
As I serve the foundation I am motivated by the profound and positive impact on the health and wellbeing of the community that can be achieved through philanthropy. By helping facilitate charitable investments in our community and by partnering with leadership that provides advice, advocacy, and philanthropy and a strong team of colleagues we can truly make a difference in our community.
Jeff joined the St. Vincent Hospital Foundation in September of 2016 with an established track record of advancing efforts to provide greater philanthropic support for critical programs that serve the community. His experience includes leading fundraising initiatives and capital campaigns at public and private healthcare and higher education organizations. Institutions Jeff has served include University of Louisville - Health Science Center and University of Virginia Health Foundation - UVA Children’s Hospital and Catholic Health Initiatives. Jeff’s career focus has been planning and implementing campaigns as large as $60M, structuring planned gifts including charitable trusts, and working with gifts in kind including art and collectibles, aircraft, real estate, horses and natural resources such as timber rights.
Jeff has a J.D. from the Dickinson School of Law – Pennsylvania State University and a B.A. in History from Rutgers University.
